Delicious pasta, pizza & gelato!! Great atmosphere for a family night out or casual meet-up. We're looking forward to trying their many varieties of gelato.

Hands down Top 3-5 pizza spots in Pittsburgh. Shadyside location is as equally great overall. Great pizza selections, gluten free crusts available. I wish there was Build Your Own pizza option. This is A quality, if you're tired of "thick crust, get cold quick, made with processed toppings" pizzas on every corner now - this is your spot, the place to be! Our Top Recommendation 100% of times!

Our table was right next to the area with the pizza oven, and my son absolutely loved watching them make pizzas! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere (but you can also definitely go for a date night and enjoy yourselves).

We went to the one in Shadyside and went to the one in Fox Chapel to source their wonderful gelato. We LOVE the gelato and will be bringing the kids and grandkids when they are in town. Food is great, people are great, and are not bad. xxxooo to them.

Everything was excellent. Trust me you really need to go soon! #ThankYouVeryMuch

I had the Salsiccia E Friarielli. A white pizza. It was wood fire baked. Now this is normally doesn't mean much except a higher chance for your crust to be burnt, however; they did it amazing justice. The crust was the lighter and airiest crust I've ever had. I recommend eating that as soon as you can once it is off the fire. You'll probably lose roughly 60% of the texture if you take it home in a box so I highly recommend eating at the restaurant for maximum flavor and texture. The pizza was really really good. Though roughly half way through the pizza the crust lost its peak airiness. The pizza was still very good and was still one of the most tender crusts I've ever eaten so it will still be great but not magical. The gelato selection was fantastic. No complaints. I got a small waffle cone of their dulce de letca and it was very very good. Just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. I would pick this place over a fair amount of ice cream shops. The wait staff were all very nice even though they were super busy. They worked really well and made sure I was taken care of.

We got the fried bread and marinara, 2 pizzas, and gelato. The fried bread seemed a little under cooked, but was still very good. The pizzas were amazing! Super thin, fresh tasting sauce, and the crust was great. We also got 3 different types of gelato for dessert and it was very good. 10/10 would recommend!

This place was amazing. The pizza is very close to what it’s like in Italy. I was stationed there for two years and it’s quite different than American pizza. And they hit it right on the head. But they also made the closest gelato that I’ve had since I’ve been back in the states. I’ve tried a lot of places that have gelato and it’s decent I guess but this place is very close to Italy. Also my wife got the Orecchiette with Sausage & Rapini. It was very good, I would definitely say try Mercurios!
